My name is Abigail Brown.

A Lotus Connection was founded in 2010 as an outlet for yoga and Thai massage. Since, it has grown into a clothing and lifestyle brand founded on the idea of embodying our true nature.

I got my first sewing machine in college where I began sewing clothing to sell at hippie music festivals and on “the lot” at Widespread Panic shows. I up-cycled old thrifted clothing to create a new looks that formed my funky-festive personal style.

My current designs are inspired by my travels, yoga, festivals, and authentic clothing styles from around the world with the goal to combine vintage, worldly culture, and modern fashion in a way that is unique to A Lotus Connection.

All of our designs are created in Thailand and Bali by small family businesses under happy, healthy, fair-trade conditions. I work closely with the two families that carefully produce each item, and nothing is mass produced. These relationships ensure that every piece of every collection is of the highest quality in every aspect. This gives our clothing the authenticity that you will appreciate each time you wear it.

The fair-trade element of A Lotus Connection, is just one part of what this brand stands for.

A Lotus Connection is about your connection to source—whether through music, yoga, nature, travel, spirituality, or fashion. The lotus flower is a symbol of purity that resides within. It grows out of darkness towards divine light. Each person that wears these designs becomes part of a system of energies that link us all together as brothers and sisters. Taking inspiration from the unalome, A Lotus Connection is about finding community and experiencing growth through the journey.

The journey is the destination.
